#1) According to the National Weather Service, Wilmington has a chance of showers, mainly after 1pm. Otherwise, partly sunny with a high near 60. Chance of precipitation is 40%.
#2) The Wilmington Elderly Services Commission meets at 1:30pm at the Senior Center. Read the agenda HERE.
#3) The Wilmington Water & Sewer Commission meets at 5:30pm at Wilmington Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.
#4) The Wilmington Facility Master Plan Committee meets at 7pm at Wilmington Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.
#5) Rocco’s Restaurant & Bar (193 Main Street) is hosting live music with Larry Gilbert at 6pm.
#6) Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street) is hosting live music with Joe Leary at 8pm.
#7) The Shawsheen Valley Technical High School’s Guidance Department is hosting its annual College and Career Planning Night, from 6pm to 8pm, in the school gymnasium. The College and Career Planning Night is open to students from Wilmington. The event is designed to assist students and parents with college or career exploration and decision-making with participants receiving a College and Career Planning Guide. Students and parents will have the opportunity to network with more than 85 representatives from a variety of public and private colleges, universities, community colleges and technical institutes as well as all four branches of the military.
#8) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding FOUR programs:
- Relaxation for Two Year Olds (10am-11am)
- The Beatles: Bands of the Sixties (2:30pm-3:30pm)
- Crafternoons: Bath Bombs & Lip Balms (3:45pm-4:45pm)
- Novel Ideas: Fiction Book Group (7pm-8pm)
