POLICE LOG for October 10: Billerica Woman Arrested; Stolen Purse; Bad Highway Accident

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, October 10, 2016:

  • Police received report from the Water Department that concrete was spilled in the roadway on Salem Street. Police contacted Benevento’s and advised them of the issue. (9:35am)
  • Police received a 911 call from a home on Morgan Road. On call back, spoke with resident who stated a child was playing with the phone. (10:37am)
  • Tammatha Jeanne O’Connor (45, Billerica) was arrested for OUI Liquor, Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Suspended License, and Marked Lanes Violation.  O’Connor also had an outstanding warrant with the Lebanon County Sheriff’s Office in Pennsylvania. O’Connor was pulled over on the Richmond Street bridge. (10:39am)
  • A caller reported a stolen pure while at Savers. Police located purse, but money was missing from the purse. (2:42pm)
  • A caller reported a water main cover was sticking up in the roadway at Allgrove Lane and Woburn Street. Police confirmed and contacted DPW. (2:55pm)
  • A Horseshoe Lane caller believed her car was stolen from her property. Police confirmed the car was recently repossessed. (3:47pm)
  • Fire Department transported occupant of a motor vehicle crash on 93 North, near the Exit 38 ramp, to Lahey Clinic. State Police requested assistance from the Police Department as the multi-car accident blocked all 4 lanes. (3:54pm)
  • Police escorted a suspicious acting woman off the Salvation Army parking lot. (6:35pm)
