WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, October 5, 2016:
- Police noted an individual acting suspiciously near the dumpsters next to St. Dorothy’s. Situation checked OK. Individual was playing Pokemon Go. (1:45am)
- A walk-in party reported tenants threatened to burn down their Marjorie Road house. Tenants had left for work and loud music was left on their apartment. (5:35am)
- Police received a call that a black ATV was driving up and down Border Avenue. ATV was gone by the time police arrived. (4:23pm)
- Police to mail a citation to a gray 2016 Jeep Cherokee for following an ambulance through traffic on Lowell Street. (6:30pm)
- A Cedarcrest Road caller reported a package was stolen from his property. (7:30pm)
- A juvenile walked away from the Milestone Group Home on High Street, but eventually returned. (7:57pm)
- A caller reported a possible clown walking down Shawhseen Avenue. Police spoke with juvenile, who was dressed as a banana having just left a costume party. Police told him to remove the costume and head home. Police later received a call of children screaming in the soccer fields. Police observed a group of 15 youths chasing the “banana” through the woods. Police ensured the juvenile did arrive home safely. (7:57pm)
- Donna Marie Prince (54, Wilmington) was arrested for OUI Liquor, Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle, and Marked Lanes Violation. (8:15pm)
