WILMINGTON, MA — Below is a list of FREE upcoming programs for adults, teens and kids at the Wilmington Memorial Library.

Registration begins 30 days prior to the event. Please register online using our Calendar of Events at www.wilmlibrary.org or by calling (978) 694-2099 (for Adult) or (978) 694-2098 (for Children/Teen). Adult Events

Movie Night: Ghostbusters *RR
Tuesday, October 18, 6:30pm
Two paranormal researchers join forces with a nuclear engineer and a subway attendant to fight off a slew of ghosts that have invaded New York City. Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

The Beatles: Band of the Sixties *RR
Thursday, October 20, 2:30pm
Explore the music of The Beatles in this 60-minute multimedia presentation (part history and part musical analysis) spanning the full 1960’s: beginning with the band’s seminal visits to Hamburg, continuing through Beatlemania, and concluding with Abbey Road. The program will be supplemented with audio clips of music and excerpts from interviews with the band members. Presented by Beatles scholar and author Aaron Krerowicz.

Novel Ideas: Fiction Book Group*RR

Featured Book: Only Love Can Break Your Heart by Ed Tarkington
Join the library’s fiction book group led by Adult Services Librarian Kim Rowley. Please stop by the library to pick up a copy of the featured book.

Explore space through hands on activities. Ages 3-5

Star Mag
Wednesday, October 19, 3:45pm
Drop in to help create this magazine written by, for and about kids, and published by the library. Bring in finished, original artwork, puzzles, poems, comics, jokes, or create it while you are here. Grades 3-5

Toe Jam Halloween Spooktacular *RR
Wednesday, October 19, 6:30pm
Trick or treat with Toe Jam’s all original Halloween songs & puppets. Toe Jam will dress up the kids in their kooky Halloween gear and dance some spooky dances like ‘Do the Frankie!’ (as in Frankenstein!). The show is full of Toe Jammy Monsters and silly string too. Boo to you! Ages 3+

Relaxation for Two Year Olds *RR
Thursday, October 20, 10am
Instructor Sheryl White will help parents learn to relax and how to help their two year olds be more peaceful. Participants will do simple and fun activities to encourage relaxation. Handouts will be provided.

Crafternoons: Bath Bombs & Lip Balms *RR
Thursday, October 20, 3:45pm
Make pumpkin scented bath bombs and candy corn flavored lip balm just in time for Halloween! Grades 4-8
