OBITUARY: Richard DeLucia, 75

WILMINGTON, MA — Richard DeLucia, age 75, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 8, 2016.

Richard was the beloved husband of the late Mary Anne (Connors) DeLucia, loving father of Rick DeLucia and his wife Denise of Walpole and Matthew DeLucia of Lancaster, cherished “Papa” of Brooke, Kaitlyn, Ryan, Tyler, Isabel, Thomas and Joshuah, loving son of the late Pasquale and Rose (D’Antonio) DeLucia, dear brother of Michael DeLucia and his wife Gail of Billerica and Patricia DeLucia of Wilmington, Richard is also survived by his companion Marie Creedon of Billerica, his dear friend Ruthann Solderholm as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many friends.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rt. 62), Wilmington on Tuesday, October 11th, from 4-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 12th at 11:00 a.m. Interment with Military Honors to follow in Wildwood Cemetery. Memorial donations in Richard’s name can be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation at jdrf.org or to the Mass. Down Syndrome Congress, 20 Burlington Mall Road, Suite 261, Burlington, MA 01803.
