What Are Town Boards & Committees Talking About Next Week?

WILMINGTON, MA — According to the Wilmington Town Clerk’s calendar, there are FOUR town board and committee meetings, plus a special neighborhood meeting, scheduled for the week of Sunday, October 9.

Sunday, October 9

  • No Meetings

Monday, October 10

  • No Meetings

Tuesday, October 11

  • The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.  The board will receive an updated on the town’s automated trash and recycling collection program.
  • The Wilmington Historical Commission meets at 7pm at the Town Museum. Read the agenda HERE.  The board will discuss the Butters Farmhouse, Facilities Master Plan, and the Town Museum’s Harvest Festival on October 30.

Wednesday, October 12

  • The Wilmington School Committee meets at 7pm at Wilmington High (Large Instruction Room). Read the agenda HERE.  The committee will discuss the Interim Superintendent process, the district’s MCAS results, and the state of the schools’ libraries.
  • The Wilmington Board of Appeals meets at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.

Thursday, October 13

  • The Yentile Farm Development Committee and Wilmington Board of Selectmen will tour Yentile Farm at 8am.
  • The Wilmington Planning & Conservation Department will hold a Neighborhood Meeting at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9) to discuss the current and future zoning of the commercial area along Middlesex Avenue and the North Wilmington Train Station.

Friday, October 14

  • No Meetings

Saturday, October 15

  • No Meetings

All meetings are open to the public unless noted.

(NOTE: While unlikely, it is possible additional meetings could be added to this week’s calendar on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.  It’s best to check the Town Clerk’s calendar mid-week.)
