POLICE LOG for October 1: Peeing In Public; Car vs. Tree; Mailboxes Smashed

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, October 1, 2016:

  • Police noticed 4 individuals in the parking lot of the Shawsheen Elementary School. Situation checked OK. Individuals were using remote control cars. Police advised group of the park’s hours. (12:52am)
  • A gray 2016 Mercury Grand Marquis struck a tree on Wilton Drive. A mailbox was also damaged. Vehicle was towed. No injuries noted. (2:31pm)
  • A Main Street caller reported that a black 2012 Toyota Camry pulled over, a man got out of it, and urinated on his property. Police located the man, who was an employee at Koch, and spoke to him about his behavior. (3:18pm)
  • A gray 2012 Dodge Caliber and a orange 2007 Ford Edge were involved in a crash at Middlesex Avenue and High Street. One driver was transported to Lahey. (8:58pm)
  • A resident reported his and two other mailboxes on King Street was smashed. Caller did not get a description of the vehicle. (11:06pm)
