WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington Farmers Market will mark the end of its sixth season by holding a Harvest Fest on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 10am to 1pm.
The Market will be hosting two bouncy houses courtesy of GymStreet USA. At the Kids’ Table, youngsters can decorate their own pumpkins and flex their creative muscles by making autumn pencils. There will also be trick-or-treating around the market, and Usborne Books will offer story times throughout the day.
The Market also have a packed line-up of vendors: Gaouette Farm and Arrowhead Farm, Wilmington’s own Maple Pot Honey Farm and Seafood Express, Purple Carrot Bread, Emmett’s Edibles Gourmet Dog Treats, Deano’s Pasta, del Sur Natural, Cuesta’s Fiestas, Phang’s Kitchen, Powerhouse Juice, Foxboro Cheese, KG Creations, Happy Cat Gourmet Granola, KcStyles, Kittredge Candles, Beads by Barbara, and Robert Boyce’s Birdhouses.
Music will be provided by one of the Market’s favorites, Brian Henderson, as well as voice students from The Dance Company of Wilmington. The community tent will feature We’re One Wilmington, who will be collecting Halloween costume donations from 9am to 12pm, and handing them out from 10am to 1pm. Cub Scouts will also be on hand selling popcorn.
The Market is looking for a free or inexpensive space so that they can hold an occasional winter market this year. Like their Facebook page to keep up with the news.
