Austin Prep To Hold Open House For Prospective Students On October 30

READING, MA — Austin Preparatory School in Reading is hosting its annual Open House for prospective students in grades 6 through 12 on Sunday, October 30, from 11am to 2pm.

Students and teachers will illustrate the school’s challenging academic programs through classroom demonstrations and tours. All visitors will hear about the Austin Journey from Headmaster James Hickey, Ph.D., and have the chance to talk with current parents. Families will meet coaches, music and art directors, and club moderators. Light refreshments will be served.

About the school:

  • SAT & college application prep is part of the curriculum
  • College advisement begins freshman year
  • Small class sizes: Average 14 in Upper School; 15 in Middle School
  • More than 60 clubs and activities, and 18 interscholastic athletic programs
  • 100 percent of seniors accepted to four-year colleges
