15 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (October 6, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 15 things you need to know in Wilmington for Thursday, October 6, 2016.

#1) According to the National Weather Service, it will be sunny in Wilmington today, with a high near 73. Light and variable wind.

#2) Reading Municipal Light Department (RMLD) is celebrating National Public Power Week with an Open House from 2pm to 5pm at RMLD Headquarters (218 Ash Street). Learn more HERE.

#3) TODAY is the DEADLINE for the upcoming Wilmington Recreation Basketball season. Learn more HERE.

#4) Rocco’s Restaurant & Bar (193 Main Street) is hosting live music with Larry Gilbert at 6pm.

#5) Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street) is hosting live music with Chad LaMarsh at 8pm.

#6) Tremezzo (2 Lowell Street) is hosting live music with Pianist Ricky Lauria at 8pm.

#7) The Wilmington Recreation Commission meets at 5pm in the Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.  The Commission will discuss the Director transition, Horribles Parade, trip to the Colorado Rockies, and the Recreation Basketball programs.

#8) The Wilmington Little League is holding its Annual Meeting at 7pm at the Fourth of July Building.
