WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, September 28, 2016:
- A caller reported a black 2008 Toyota Tundra stopped his vehicle near Big Joes at the Route 62 and Route 38 intersection and placed what appeared to be a battery on the corner of the street. Police spoke to the driver who stated the battery was in the middle of the roadway and he moved it to the side. Witness restated that the man took the battery from his own vehicle. Police notified Mass Highway to remove the battery. (11:13am)
- A Woburn Street caller reported a neighbor left a television on the side of the walkway for a long period of time. DPW had advised the caller to notified the police. Police spoke with resident, who agreed to remove the tv from the walkway. (12:02pm)
- Wilmington Police installed three safety seats for residents throughout the day.
- An Avalon Drive resident walked in to report her son’s bike was stolen. (1:45pm)
- Police provided a ride to a female juvenile who missed her bus from the High School. (2:25pm)
- A gray 2011 Subaru Outback and a red 2014 Ford Focus were involved in a crash with no injuries on Lowell Street. (2:31pm)
- The Milestone Group Home reported a missing juvenile from their program. (4:13pm)
- Police helped a driver gain access in a motor vehicle lockout in the K1 Speed parking lot. (9:11pm)
