WILMINGTON, MA — Mrs. Geraldine E. (McNally) Tanner, passed away peacefully in Wilmington on Saturday morning. She was 91.
Born in Everett, she was the daughter of the late James and Hanora (Donahue) McNally.
She was a devoted mother of James McNally, Somerville Police Dept., and his wife Wendy of Wilmington and the late Sharon Toohey and her late husband Rick. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Kent and her husband Kyle of Rockland, Brian Toohey of Weymouth, Tatum and Kristyn McNally of Wilmington. Great-grandmother of Mason Kent. Dear sister of Barbara Bodamer and her husband Dr. Paul Bodamer of Georgia and the late Rita Alexander and Elizabeth Knowles.
Funeral Services will be held in the George L. Doherty Funeral Home, 855 Broadway (Powder House Sq.) Somerville on Friday, October 9th at 11:00AM. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
Calling Hours are Thursday, October 8th, 4:00pm to 8:00pm.
Interment will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Geraldine’s memory can be made to the American Cancer Society, in support of Colon Cancer research, at http://www.cancer.org.
