WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 10 things you need to know in Wilmington for Tuesday, September 27, 2016.
#1) According to the National Weather Service, showers are likely in Wilmington, mainly before 10am. Patchy fog before 11am. Otherwise, cloudy, then gradually becoming mostly sunny, with a high near 73.
#2) The wake for Donna M. Guarino, the victim in last week’s fatal car crash, will be held from 4pm to 8pm at Nichols Funeral Home (187 Middlesex Avenue).
#3) Wilmington Recreation Director Debbie Cipriani’s Retirement Celebration is taking place TONIGHT at Angelia’s in Middleton beginning at 5:30pm. Tickets are no longer avialable.
#4) The Wilmington and Stoneham Girls High School Soccer programs are raising funds and awareness for breast cancer today. The teams’ annual Kick Cancer Games will take place at 4:30pm (JV) and 6pm (Varsity) at Wilmington High School’s Alumni Stadium.
Wilmington Youth Soccer and Stoneham Soccer Club players will get in FREE to the Kick Cancer games as long as they’re wearing their WYSA or SSC soccer gear. Each player will receive a Kick Cancer wristband for a $3 donation to the Hope & Friendship Metastatic Breast Cancer Foundation. Learn more HERE.

#8) The Tewksbury/Wilmington Elks (777 South Street, Tewksbury) holds bingo — open to the public — every Tuesday at 6:45pm. Doors open at 5pm. Pizza, hot dog and pastries are sold. Free coffee.
#9) Red Heat Tavern is holding its weekly bar trivia (pub quiz) with Geeks Who Drink from 7pm to 9pm. Learn more HERE.
#10) Angels In Motion meets every Tuesday, from 9:30am to 2:30pm, at the Wilmington Knights of Columbus Hall (112 Middlesex Avenue). The club provides a great opportunity for seniors to meet new friends or reacquaint with old ones. Spend the day playing cards, board games, or just chatting with folks! A luncheon is served as noon. There are NO fees. The KofC Hall is handicap accessible.
