WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Farmers Market is actively looking for a free space to hold its first ever winter season.
As it begins the search, the market has turned to the public for help. Organizers posted the following message on its Facebook page yesterday:
“Anyone interested in us continuing the market through the winter? Our vendors are, and we are too! But we need a free space — can you help? We’d need parking, and room for at least a dozen vendors or so. Hit us up with ideas and contacts!”
If you have any suggestions or leads, please contact the Market at wilmingtonfarmersmarket1@gmail.com.
The Wilmington Farmers Market, now in its sixth fall season, is open on Sundays (10am-1pm), from mid-June to early October. The market is located on the Swain Green, across from the Town Common, at 140 Middlesex Avenue.
The current fall season’s final date is October 9.
