Wilmington High’s Battle Of The Bands Set For November 5, Bands Wanted

WILMINGTON, MA — Are you ready to rock, Wilmington?

Wilmington’s 2016 Battle of the Bands will be held on Saturday, November 5, from 7pm to 10pm, in the Wilmington High School Auditorium. The event, sponsored by Alpha Omega Music Studios, is presented by the Wilmington High School Choral and Theatre Support Group (WHS CATS).

Interested bands must submit their applications by Monday, October 12. All bands members must between 13 and 20 years of age. Preference will be given to bands with a Wilmington resident. Prizes will be awarded to the top three bands. For additional rules and to submit an Application, click HERE.

The general public is invited to the event. Tickets cost $10 at the door. 100% of the proceeds will benefit the W.H.S. CATS Scholarship and supplemental productions and materials fund.

According to the group’s website, “C.A.T.S. is a parent run organization providing on-going support for the Wilmington High School Choral and Theatre groups.  Our mission is to provide annual scholarship opportunities for college and military bound Wilmington High School students and to provide supplementary funding for the purchase of production equipment and materials.”
