WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 10 things you need to know in Wilmington for Thursday, September 22, 2016.
#1) Fuddruckers — inside Jordan’s Furniture in Reading — will donate 20% of your bill to the Wilmington High School’s 9/11 Committee from 5pm to 8pm. Take a break from cooking, skip the dishes, and eat out to support a group of wonderful Wilmington kids who are trying to raise funds to purchase new flag poles for the Wilmington Fire Department. You must bring this flyer.
#2) The Wilmington Water & Sewer Commission meets at 5:30pm at Wilmington Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.
#3) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding a program at 7pm when the Wilmington Senior Center will discuss the services it offers to residents. Learn more HERE.
#4) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Thursday activities — Walking Group (9am); Bocce (9:30am); Art Class (10am); Aerobics (10:30am); Knitting (11am); Game Day (1pm); and Ceramics (1pm). #6) The WHS Golf Team hosts Wakefield at 3:30pm at the Hillview Country Club. The WHS Varsity Field Hockey team battles Watertown at 3:45pm at Wilmington High. The WHS Varsity Volleyball team takes on Watertown at 4pm at Wilmington High.
#7) Rocco’s Restaurant & Bar (193 Main Street) is hosting live music with Larry Gilbert at 6pm.
#8) Wilmington’s Scully Signal Company (70 Industrial Way) is holding an 80th Anniversary Celebration from 9pm to 3pm. Learn more HERE.
