WILMINGTON, MA — Enjoy a free evening of Indian music and dance on Saturday, September 24, from 7:30pm to 9pm, in the Wilmington High School Auditorium.
The concert is organized by Upasana, a Wilmington-based non-profit organization committed to promoting and preserving Odissi, a lesser known Indian Classical dance style.
The organization invites residents to “discover Odissi by experiencing the rhythms of the Mardala, the melody of the Flute and the lyrical Raagas mingle with young dancing feet.”
The concert is free and open to all. The evening is financially sponsored by several local cultural councils, including Wilmington’s.
