5 Things You Need To Know In Wilmington Today (September 19)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 5 things you need to know in Wilmington for Monday, September 19, 2016.

#1) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding TWO programs — Talk Like A Pirate Party (10am-11am) and Read To Zoey The Listening Labrador (6:30pm-7:30pm). Learn more HERE.

#2) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its typical Monday activities — Blood Pressure Clinic (9:30am); SBF Exercise (9:45am); Special Exercise (11am); and Quilting (1pm). Learn more HERE.

#3) The WHS Golf Team takes on Amesbury at 3:30pm at the Amesbury Country Club. The WHS Volleyball Team battles Wakefield at 4pm at Wakefield High.

#4) Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street) is running its regular Monday special — “Mac Your Mondays.” Customers can create their own mac & cheese all day on Mondays.  Customers receive $2 off when the post their dish with the hashtag #RHTMAC on Facebook or Instagram. See the poster HERE.

#5) The Shawsheen Tech School Committee’s Facilities Subcommittee meets at 7pm at the Shawsheen Tech. The agenda will be posted HERE.
