POLICE LOG for September 12: Wilmington Man Arrested On 3 Warrants; Savers Shoplifter; Target Counterfeiter

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Monday, September 12, 2016:

  • A 2009 Toyota Rav 4 and a green 2006 Honda Odyssey were involved in a minor crash at AL Prime on Main Street. No injuries reported. Both vehicles towed. (5:46am)
  • Police received a report of a wire down over the sidewalk near the Woburn Street School parking lot. Police notified Verizon. (7:31am)
  • A Wabash Road caller reported their vehicle was broken into overnight, but it appeared nothing was missing. (8:00am)
  • Marc J. Power (40, Wilmington) was arrested on warrants for numerous offenses, including OUI Alcohol, Possession of Open Container; OUI Alcohol (2nd Offense); Reckless Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Marked Lanes Violation; Speeding. (9:30am)
  • A caller reported a shoplifter at Savers. Store made contact with the alleged culprit and recovered some of the merchandise. (1:27pm)
  • A Salem Street resident reported their 2 blue trash barrels were stolen. (2:03pm)
  • Nakeyta A. McKinney (40, Brockston) was issued a summons for a larceny over $250 and uttering a counterfeit note. The incident happened at Target. (5:29pm)
