WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, September 11, 2016:
- Police noticed a vehicle in the Town Hall parking lot. Occupants were playing Pokemon Go and were sent on their way. (1:04am)
- A Buckingham Road resident reported sometime between 11pm last night and now, the times on two of her vehicles were slashed. (9:24am)
- A caller reported a chihuahua locked in a gray 2008 Nissan in the TJ Maxx parking lot. Windows were only cracked open, dog was in the vehicle for at least a half an hour, and dog was barking at one point. Police responded, but vehicle was gone unpon arrival. (3:23pm)
- A man outside the entrance of Market Basket asking for signatures reported another man started an argument with him and threatened him. The accused man got into his car and drove past the store several times. By the time police responded, the accused man was no longer on the scene. (7:05pm)
- The man who was gathering signatures called the police back saying the man that allegedly threatened him was now tailgating him on Main Street. Police waited for the man at his home and spoke with him. Situation was described as just an argument over a difference of opinion. (7:25pm)
