WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Senior Center is holding two special free programs next week:
On Tuesday, September 20 at 1pm, Margaret Cavanaugh, from a local funeral home, will discuss how to prepare yourself to begin thinking about a prepaid funeral. Some need a prepaid funeral for a “spend down” for applying for Medicaid, while others are interested in making sure they have everything they want and reduce the stress for their families.
On Thursday, September 22 at 1pm, Pat McMillen, a representative from the Massachusetts Senior Medicare Patrol Program, will discuss how to prevent, detect, and report healthcare errors, fraud and abuse. This free information workshop will provide seniors with the tools they need to become a more informed and engaged health care consumer.
