WILMINGTON, MA — Want to skip the long lines on Election Day? In a memo to the Wilmington Board of Selectmen, Town Clerk Sharon George has announced that Wilmington residents will have the ability to “vote early” in this year’s November election.
Early voting will take place in the Wilmington Town Hall, Wilmington’s sole designated early polling location, on the follow dates & times:
- Monday, October 24, 8:30am-7pm
- Tuesday, October 25, 8:30am-4:30pm
- Wednesday, October 26, 8:30am-4:30pm
- Thursday, October 27, 8:30am-4:30pm
- Friday, October 28, 8:30am-4:30pm
- Saturday, October 29, 9am-1pm
- Monday, October 31, 8:30am-7pm
- Tuesday, November 1, 8:30am-4:30pm
- Wednesday, November 2, 8:30am-4:30pm
- Thursday, November 3, 8:30am-4:30pm
- Friday, November 4, 8:30am-4:30pm
The Town Clerk’s Office will provide additional information about early voting prior to the election. If residents have any questions on early voting, they are encouraged to contact the Town Clerk’s Office at 978-658-2030.
This change in Wilmington is a part of a larger statewide change stemming from a 2014 state law that requires early voting inside a 10-day window before each biennial state election.
