WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, September 7, 2016:
- An employee at Benevento’s on Salem Street reported wire stolen from one of the machines. (7:23am)
- A Wakefield Avenue resident requested extra patrols at night, stating there has been an excessive amount of juveniles she believes partying in the woods and causing a nuisance. (8:10am)
- Police noted a stop sign was done in the roadway at Grove Avenue and Lake Street. It appeared someone skidded into the sign and took off. Police notified DPW. (8:27am)
- An Agostino Drive caller reported 4 men approached her home offering do a pavement job. Police were unable to locate the men. (12:34pm)
- Robert John Kogut (22, Leominster) was issued a summons for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license and failure to wear a seat belt. (1:55pm)
- A Chestnut Street caller reported a discarded needle near driveway. (3:09pm)
- Craig J. Marino (41, Reading) was arrested for an OUI Liquor (2nd offense) and the possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle. (7:30pm)
