WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington High School Volleyball Team (0-2) lost its second consecutive home game to begin the season, suffering a 3-0 loss to Lexington on Friday, September 9.
The Wildcats dropped all three sets — Set 1 (19-25), Set 2 (21-25), and Set 3 (8-25).
Statistical leaders for the Wildcats included:
- Heather Pozzi (12 serves with 3 aces)
- Christina Woods (3 kills)
- Abygail Shedd (2 digs)
- Emily Hill (4 assists)
“Serving continues to be a strength for the team, and one that we will continue to work on while we strive to improve performance in other areas,” says Head Coach Bruce Shainwald.
