WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington High School Varsity Field Hockey Team (1-0) opened its season with a 4-0 victory against Woburn on Friday, September 9 at Wilmington High.
Junior Samantha L’Esperance led the Wildcat scoring attack with two goals. Juniors Avery Andersen and Jill Miele each notched a goal of their own.
Wilmington’s defense played very well, not allowing the Tanners to record any shots on net.
The Wildcats are back in action against Lexington on Monday, September 12 at 6pm under the lights at Alumni Field.
