WILMINGTON, MA — Here are 10 things you need to know in Wilmington for Monday, September 12, 2016.
#1) The Wilmington Board of Selectmen meets at 7pm at Wilmington Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE. Topics include a discussion of the facilities master plan, an update on New England Trainsrail proposal, and six various community requests for the board to consider.
#2) The Wilmington Historical Commission meest at 7pm at the Harnden Tavern. Read the agenda HERE. Topics include: Butters Farm, signage for the town’s historic districts and homes, and a vacancy on the commission.
#3) The Wilmington Housing Authority meets at 5pm at Deming Way. Read the agenda HERE. Topics include a discussion of the proposed capital improvement plan for FY17.
#4) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding FOUR programs — Little Movers (10am-10:45am); Networkers: Overcoming Obstacles, Fears and Self-Doubts (10am-noon); Maker Mondays: 3Doodlers (3pm-4pm); and Great Decision Series with Keith West (7pm-9pm). Learn more HERE.

#6) The WHS Varsity Volleyball team travels to Medford High at 5:15pm. The WHS Varsity Field Hockey team hosts Lexington High at 6pm.
