Bring Your Dog (or Cat) To The Farmers Market Today For Special Activities

WILMINGTON, MA — The Wilmington Farmers Market is encouraging shoppers to bring their dogs and cats to the market this Sunday, September 11, 10am to 1pm, across from the Town Common.

In addition to hosting nearly 20 vendors and artisans, plus a local Girl Scouts Troop and live music (see this week’s lineup HERE), the Wilmington Farmers Market has a few special activities planned for pets and their owners this week.

  • Boston Dog Company and Bow Wow Wellness Center, which just celebrated its grand opening in Wilmington on Saturday, will be at the market.  Visit their tent to take a photo of your pet with their ‘Halloween Pet Photo Booth.’
  • Meet Dr. Heidi Tapscott of Best Pets Vet and ask her questions related to pet health and wellness.
  • Purchase doggie treats from Emmett’s Edibles.
  • Kids can make a dog puppet at the Kids Craft Table in honor of ‘Hug Your Hound Day.’
  • Kids can also receive a balloon animal from Yarrow the Balloon Artist.
