WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Saturday, September 3, 2016:
- Police received report of an aggressive driver in a blue 2006 Nissan Altima. Caller said a driver was tailgating on Shawsheen Avenue and passed on the opposite side of the street. Police pulled the driver over on Main Street and conducted a sobriety test, which the driver passed. Driver was sent on his way. (2:04am)
- A caller found a syringe on the side of the road on Apache Way. Police retrieved item for destruction. (6:35am)
- A blue 2013 Yamaha and a white 2012 Toyota Rav 4 were involved in a crash on Main Street. No injuries reported. (12:25pm)
- A red 2013 Kida Optima and a gray 2013 Honda Ridgeline were involved in a crash at Main Street and Middlesex Avenue. No injuries reported. (3:26pm)
- A caller reported a green Toyota Corolla was operated erratically on Richmond Street. Police were unable to locate. (3:46pm)
- A caller reported kids were riding bikes and scooters inside the tennis courts at Wilmington High. Police advised the kids. (6:27pm)
- An ex-boyfriend and ex-girlfriend got involved in a verbal altercation on Aldrich Road. Man wished to have woman removed. By the time police responded, woman had left in her vehicle, possibly under the influence. Police were unable to locate her. (9:03pm)
- Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout in the 4th of July Building’s parking lot. (9:41pm)
