POLICE LOG for September 2: Dog Poop Thrown At Car; Eggs Thrown At House; Brush Fire

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Friday, September 2, 2016:

  • Police received multiple calls receiving a suspicious vehicle in the Salem Street area. Operator is a private investigator who is authorized to work in the area. (8:48am)
  • Animal Control Officer notified a dead woodchuck in the road at Kendall Street and Aldrich Road. (9:02am)
  • The private investigator on Salem Street reported an individual was throwing dog feces at his car. Police responded and restored the peace. (9:59am)
  • Police assisted with a motor vehicle lockout in the Bank of America parking lot on Main Street. (12:46pm)
  • A Norfolk Avenue resident reported eggs were thrown at her house. No damage was done to her home. (1:53pm)
  • A mother reported her son was supposed to be dropped off by Agganis Driving School 45 minutes ago at their Medford home.  She pinged his phone to Wilmington.  Police spoke with driving school, who was in the process of dropping off juvenile at his residence.  There was confusion about the length of the driving lesson. (8:28pm)
  • Fire Department responded to a brush fire in the area behind Salvation Army on Main Street. (10:21pm)
