5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (September 8, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Thursday, September 8, 2016.

#1) The State Primary Election is TODAY.  Polls are open from 7am to 8pm.   Per usual, Precincts 1 & 2 vote at the Boutwell; Precincts 3 & 4 vote at the Wildwood; and Precincts 5 & 6 vote at Town Hall.  In case you’re wondering, Boutwell & Wildwood DO have school, but it will be an early release day.  See the election’s sample ballots HERE.

#2) The Wilmington Finance Committee meets at 6pm to discuss the Facilities Master Plan in the Banda Room at the Wilmington Memorial Library.

#3) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding two programs — ‘Time For Twos’ (10:30am-11am) and ‘Energy Savings presented by RMLD’ (7pm). Learn more HERE.

#4) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding its normal Thursday activities — Walking Group (9am); Bocce (9:30am); Art Class (10am); Aerobics (10:30am); Knitting (11am); Game Day (1pm); and Ceramics (1pm).  Learn more HERE.

#5) The WHS Varsity Girls Soccer takes on Woburn at 5:15pm at Woburn High School.  The WHS Boys Soccer Team hosts Woburn at 6pm at Wilmington High School.

PLUS: Red Heat Tavern (300 Lowell Street) is hosting live music with Joe Leary at 8pm.
