WILMINGTON, MA – Feed the world and have some fun! On Sunday, September 18, 2016, the ENTIRE Wilmington United Methodist Church will join together in an exciting event. Beginning at 12:30 p.m., every person affiliated in any way with the Wilmington United Methodist Church will be packing 20,000 emergency meals to be sent to areas of food insecurity. Every person of any age or ability will be part of this great mission project. Kids as young as four years old and folks of the most senior status will have tasks to perform that meet with any ability.
Interested in helping these meals reach their destination? Grab an envelope from the bulletin board in the church’s narthex; just $29.00 will allow 100 meals reach their destination.
Curious about what it might look like to pull off something like this? Here’s a short clip:
Child care for our very youngest will be available.
