WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Saturday, August 27, 2016.
#1) The 2016 Wilmington Community Ice Bucket Challenge will take place from 10am to noon at Rotary Park. All donations collected will go to the Angel Fund for ALS research. Learn more HERE. Watch the PSA below:

#2) The Dance Company (909 Main Street) is holding a Community Open House and Appreciation Day from 10am to 2pm. The event will feature dance, music, food and games, including: air brush face painting, spin art, pictures with a princess (11am-noon), bounce house, snow-cones, popcorn, giveaways and more. #3) There is a large yard sale at 119 Aldrich Road from 9am to 3pm. Sale will include household items, mountain bike, pingpong table, patio set, radical saw, rugs, tables and chairs.
#4) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less! Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
#5) The Wilmington Food Pantry (142 Chestnut Street) is open from 10am to noon for food donation drop-offs. Learn which food items the Pantry is most in need of HERE.
