WILMINGTON, MA — Stacey Stevens of Wilmington will participate in the Alzheimer’s Association’s Northeastern Massachusetts Walk to End Alzheimer’s on Sunday, September 18 at Brickstone Square in Andover.
Stevens joins the event in honor her mother, Selma, who is currently living with Alzheimer’s.
“I am participating in this Walk to honor her and to stand with others like her and their families in the fight against Alzheimer’s,” said Stevens. “Through fundraising and extensive research, may we one day find a cure that will end this disease once and for all.
This is Stevens’ first time participating in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s—the nation’s largest event to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer’s care, support and research. Stacey’s team The Gaminizers has raised almost $800 to date for this year’s event.

“We are grateful to each person who makes a commitment to the Walk to End Alzheimer’s by participating, volunteering or making a donation,” said Jim Wessler, president/CEO of the Alzheimer’s Association, MA/NH Chapter. “The funds raised will provide support services to people impacted by Alzheimer’s, while also contributing to the research that is critical to putting an end to this disease.”
