POLICE LOG for August 10: OUI Arrest, Assault with Dangerous Weapon, Stolen Packages

WILMINGTON, MA  — Here are NINE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, August 10, 2016:

  • Kellyann M. Wallace (51, Woburn) was arrested for an OUI (Liquor) and Negligent Operation of a Motor Vehicle. Wallace pulled over near AAA Tire Company on Main Street. (11:06am)
  • Animal Control Officer retrieved an injured rabbit from a Biggar Avenue yard. (12:25pm)
  • A Main Street resident was contacted from an unknown party stating they were collecting money on behalf of the Wilmington Police. Police advised resident they were not collecting funds via phone. (1:05pm)
  • A caller reported concerns over an elderly man with a walker, appearing soaking wet, walking near Lucci’s Supermarket.  Police were unable to locate the man. (1:18pm)
  • An Aldrich Road caller reported her laptop was stolen. (1:35pm)
  • Brian Damelio (39, Wilmington) was issued a summons for assault with a dangerous weapon (baseball bat). (5:02pm)
  • K9 Ridic underwent training at the DPW Headquarters on Andover Street. (5:30pm)
  • A Beacon Street resident reported two packages that were shipped to her home were stolen before she arrived home. (6:15pm)
  • A Wildwood Street caller reported someone was continuously ringing her doorbell, but weren’t identifying themselves through the door.  Police checked the property and were unable to locate anyone. (9:20pm)
