5 Things To Do In Wilmington Today (August 17, 2016)

WILMINGTON, MA — Here are FIVE things to do today in Wilmington on Wednesday, August 17, 2016.

#1) Center Fire Firearms Training (12 Bay Street, Unit 209, Wilmington) is holding an NRA Home Firearms Safety Course from 6pm to 10pm. The class costs $60. Learn more HERE.

#2) The Wilmington Memorial Library (175 Middlesex Avenue) is holding TWO programs — Device Drop-In (2pm-3pm) and a ‘Back to Hogwarts Bash’ for Grades 4 to 8 (6:30pm-8:30pm). Learn more and register HERE.

#3) The Wilmington Senior Center (15 School Street) is holding many of its normal Wednesday activities — SBF Exercise (9:45am); Special Exercise (11am) and Country Line Dancing (1pm).  The Center is also holding a special “Cool Down Supper” at 5pm, featuring hot dogs, potato salad, chips and ice cream. #4) The Wilmington Police Department offers safety seat installs at the Wilmington Public Safety Building (1 Adelaide Street) every Wednesday, 10am-2pm. No appointment is necessary, but calling ahead at 978-658-5071 is recommended. Learn more HERE.

#5) The Friends of the Wilmington Memorial Library’s Book Store Next Door (183 Middlesex Avenue) is open from 10am to 4pm. All books are $2 or less!  Every penny of every sale benefits the Wilmington Memorial Library. Learn more HERE.
