WILMINGTON, MA — Eleven Wilmington 12-year-old boys are participating in this week’s Cooperstown Dreams Park Baseball Tournament at the Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. The Wildcats will be competing against teams from across the country.
According to the Town Crier, this is the first time Wilmington has ever had a 12-year-old team in the tournament.
The team, coached by parents Derek Santini, Pat Toomey and Gary Moretto, consists of:

- #1 Joey Dynan
- #4 Jack Toomey
- #5 Colin Sainato
- #6 Garett Moretto
- #8 Tommy Mollinson
- #10 Liam Dwyer
- #14 Nate Packer
- #19 Luke Murphy
- #34 Adam LeBlanc
- #21 Ryan Santini
The team’s first six games have been announced:
- Sunday, 8:30am — Dirt Devils of North Carolina
- Sunday, 7:00pm — Potter Pirates Black of Maryland
- Monday, 11:00am — Tustin Scorpions of Carlifornia
- Monday, 4:30pm — West Bay Patriots of Rhode Island
- Tuesday, 8:30am — Long Island Junior Ducks Select of New York
- Tuesday, 1:45pm — PYA Legends Blue of New York
The three bolded games will be streamed live on the tournament’s website HERE. (Viewers have to become a FREE member of Dreams Park TV before receiving access.) The team’s schedule is subject to change due to weather.
