WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Thursday, August 4, 2016:
- A caller reported sometime last night, his car was struck at Regency Place and has side damage. Caller came to station and officer noted minor damage. (8:06am)
- Police received a report of a man yelling and banging on the fist floor doors at Avalon Oaks West. Management was not comfortable making contact with the party due to past history. Man was upset about being evicted and accused of making statements. Situation was able to resolve itself. (11:03am)
- A gray 2010 Honda Accord, a gray 2006 Saturn Ion and a red 2016 Cadillac were involved in a crash on Main Street. All vehicles were towed. A Verizon pole was also damaged. Injuries not specified. (1:28pm)
- A Baland Road resident reported her dogs were fighting and she was unable to separate them. The Animal Control Officer transported the lab to Best Pets in Tewksbury for care. The pitbull was uninjured. (1:54pm)
- Fire Department responded to an oven fire on Gowing Road. (4:58pm)
- Francis Kiyingi (43, Woburn) was issued a summons for the unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, failure to yield at an intersection, and failure to signal. (7:56pm)
