WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Wednesday, August 3, 2016:
- A Concord Street caller wanted it logged that he believed his neighbors was again placing screws in his vehicle’s tires. (6:11am)
- An individual reported a missing male gold wedding band, possibly lost at the National Night Out Event at Rotary Park. The individual later called back to report the ring was found. (8:15am)
- Two 2015 Toyota Camrys were involved in a crash on Boutwell Street. No injuries noted. 1 vehicle was towed. A mailbox was destroyed in the crash with mail all over the roadway. (2:02pm)
- A Shady Lane Drive resident received a call from a company called “NEOA” soliciting for the Wilmington Police Department. Police advised her that the department was not currently soliciting and it could be a scam. (4:44pm)
- Police notified the Water Department of a leak near the concession stand at Town Park. (6:19pm)
- A Woburn Street resident requested speeding enforcement during the morning commute. Caller says cars are passing at a high rate of speed and it’s impossible to get out of their driveway. (7:15pm)
- Police was alerted to a woman sleeping on the bench at Rotary Park. Police escorted the woman back to her residence. (8:28pm)
