Help A Wilmington College Student Raise Funds For St. Jude Hospital

WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington resident and UMass Lowell student Nikki Resendes is participating in her school’s “Up ‘Til Dawn” event to support the St. Jude Children’s  Research Hospital.

Participants will stay up all night in solidarity with parents of St. Jude patients who lose sleep over their children all the time.  The event also raises awareness and funds for St. Jude.

All proceeds from the December 3 event will benefit children who are battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases at St. Jude, where families never receive a bill for treatment, travel, housing or food.

“I would love my community’s help in raising this money for such a wonderful cause,” said Resendes, who is hoping to collected at least $150 in pledges.
