WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SIX highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, July 31, 2016:
- K9 Ridic underwent training at Camp 40 Acres on Andover Street. (9:25am)
- A caller reported a dog was struck by an unknown vehicle on Boutwell Street. Dog was able to take off from the scene. Police were unable to locate the dog. (9:31am)
- A dislodged manhole cover was reported on Arlene Avenue. Cones were put out and DPW was notified. (10:34am)
A gray 2014 BMW and a brown 2006 Toyota Camry were involved in a crash at Main Street and Mass Avenue. Both vehicles were towed. One individual was transported by the Fire Department with unspecified injuries. (12:21pm) - A caller locked his house keys inside a UHaul truck he had tented. Police helped gain access to the truck after confirming with UHaul. (6:33pm)
- Police spoke with a homeowner who parked his camper in front of a fire hydrant on Somerville Avenue. (7:39pm)
- A caller reported a gray 2008 Nissan Altima with 4-5 juvenile males were operating without headlights and yelling out the windows on Cunningham Street. Police located the vehicle in the McDonald’s parking lot. Situation checked OK. Operator claimed he did not know how to turn on his headlights. (10:15pm)
