WILMINGTON, MA — Wilmington Community Television will host its annual Family Fun Day on Sunday, August 28, from 1pm to 4pm, at the studio at 10 Waltham St. All Wilmington families are invited to attend. The free event is held rain or shine.
There will be face-painting, balloon animals, music and a live dance performance. Families are also encouraged to take a tour of WCTV and have some fun in front of the studio “green screen”, where you hang out at the beach, underwater or even in space.
For those looking to be TV stars, kids can appear on the popular WCTV program “Book Stew,” where host Eileen MacDougall will interview them about their summer reading list.
There will be popcorn, pizza and popsicles, as well as a screening of some of the most memorable clips from our summer youth workshops. We’ll have some seating available, but we encourage people to bring lawn chairs or blankets for outside.
We will also be unveiling our new WCTV logo at Family Fun Day. Come and see a modern twist to our long-time “apple” look.
Any questions? Contact WCTV at 978-657-4066 or email wctv@wctv.org. We hope to see you there!
