What Are Town Boards & Committees Talking About This Week?

WILMINGTON, MA — According to the Wilmington Town Clerk’s calendar, there are FOUR town board and committee meetings scheduled for the week of Monday, August 1, 2016.

Monday, August 1

  • No Meetings

Tuesday, August 2

  • The Wilmington Board of Health meets at 5:30pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE. Topics include Elia’s Country Store’s renovations, mobile food truck regulations, and lead testing in Wilmington Public Schools.
  • The Wilmington Planning Board meets at 7:30pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE.  The Board is holding a (continued) public hearing regarding a subdivision and stormwater management permit for Nelson Acres (Map 57, Parcel 54E).

Wednesday, August 3

  • The Wilmington Conservation Commission meets at 7pm at Town Hall (Room 9). Read the agenda HERE. In addition to various public hearings, the Commission will discuss the Town’s Facility Master Plan process, vote for a new Chair & Vice Chair, and receive an update from the Conservation Agent regarding Town Clean-Up Day on September 24.

Thursday, August 4

  • The Shawsheen Valley Technical Facilities Subcommittee meets at 7:45am the Tech to review progress of the athletic campus construction.

Friday, August 5

  • No Meetings

Saturday, August 6

  • No Meetings

All meetings are open to the public.

(NOTE: While unlikely, it is possible additional meetings could be added to this week’s calendar on Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.  It’s best to check the Town Clerk’s calendar mid-week.)
