NEWTOWN, PA — Helen (Parshley) Hayward, age 93, of Newtown, PA, died on July 23rd 2016, surrounded by her only son Jonathan and his wife Bette of Doylestown PA.
Wife of the late John G. Hayward, Helen was born in Woburn, MA and resided in Wilmington, Westboro and Sandwich, MA prior to retiring to the Lake Winnepesaukee area of NH where she had vacationed since 1933. She lived her last years in Newtown PA.
She is also survived by niece Susan Flaws of Orleans MA, nephew James Flaws of Corning NY, her grandson and his wife, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Helen was a strong New England woman who left behind many happy friendships.
No services are planned. Memorial gifts may be made to the “Lakes Region Conservation Trust” of Center Harbor, NH.
