SENIOR CENTER SPOTLIGHT: 85 Meals Delivered To Homebound; Fan Drive

WILMINGTON, MA – The Wilmington Senior Center is running its annual “Fan Drive” to donate fans to seniors in need during the hot summer months.  If you know anyone in need of a fan or air conditioner, call the Center at 978-657-7595.

The Wilmington Senior Center conducted a successful homebound delivery meal program on Tuesday, June 28.  85 Panera Bread lunch box meals were distributed to appreciative seniors at their homes around town.  Volunteers included: The Reading Cooperative Bank employees, Mary D’Eon, Grace Mullens, Maureen Fiorenza, Marilyn West, Gayle Regan, Bob Regan, Robin Theodos, Christine Murphy and Gail Protopapas.

The Wilmington Senior Center has organized a trip of the Norman Rockwell Museum and Red Lion Inn in the Berkshires on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. The trip costs $60. Sign-ups began at the Center’s Front Desk on Thursday, July 7.
