WILMINGTON, MA — Here are SEVEN highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, July 5, 2016:
- Fire Department put out an unattended fire on Ballardvale Street. (1:39am)
- Wilmington DPW reported several windows in the kitchen/cafeteria area of the Shawsheen School were damaged by rocks. At least one window appeared completely broken. (7:41pm)
- Animal Control Officer spoke to a driver on Washington Avenue regarding leaving his pets in the car. (11:43am)
- A caller reported his brother was highly intoxicated and making self-threatening statements. Police responded. Caller agreed to remain with his brother. Caller was further advised of his options. (5:07pm)
- Police received a report of a smoking car on Main Street. Fire Department responded. Vehicle was located in front of the 38 Smoke Shop. Vehicle had a broken radiator hose. Vehicle was towed. (5:54pm)
- K9 Ridic conducted training on Industrial Way. (6:50pm)
- A resident found an old plastic toy gun in the woods near the Middlesex Canal on Shawsheen Avenue and wanted to turn it in for destruction. (8:11pm)
