BOSTON, MA — On Wednesday, the Boston Bruins announced the details of its 10th Annual Development Camp at Wilmington’s Ristuccia Arena (190 Main Street).
The camp, held from Tuesday, July 12 to Friday, July 15, includes FOUR practices that are open to the public:
- Tuesday, July 12 at 11am
- Wednesday, July 13 at 10am
- Thursday, July 14 at 10am
- Friday, July 15 at 10am
27 developmental players will be participating in the camp, including all six of the team’s 2016 draft picks. Players include:
Forwards — Jack Becker, Anders Bjork, Jake DeBrusk, Ryan Donato, Ryan Fitzgerald, Trent Frederic, Jesse Gabrielle, Danton Heinen, Cameron Hughes, Joona Koppanen, Sean Kuraly, Mark Naclerio, Zachary Senyshyn (not expected to attend due to mono), Oskar Steen
Defensemen — Brandon Carlo, Cameron Clarke, Matt Grzelcyk, Emil Johansson, Jeremy Lauzon, Ryan Lindgren, Charlie McAvoy, Wiley Sherman, Jakub Zboril
Goaltenders — Stephen Dhillon, Zane McIntyre, Malcolm Subban, Daniel Vladar
Players will also participate in a variety of community events on Thursday, July 14. Locations and times will be announced at a later date.
The camp will very likely mark the final time the Boston Bruins skate in Wilmington. The team has called Ristuccia Arena their home away from the Garden for nearly 30 years, using the rink as their practice facility since 1987.
The B’s will be moving to a brand new, state-of-the-art arena in Allston, slated to open in time for training camp in September.
