Hello, Wilmington readers! In the July episode of WCTV’s Book Stew, Eileen MacDougall’s guest author is the delightful Connie Mayo, author of The Island of Worthy Boys. Connie’s historical fiction is the tale of the Boston Farm and Trade School, which operated until the 1940s on Thompson’s Island in Boston Harbor. Her heroes are Charlie and Aidan, two young boys in the 1890s who get caught up in Boston street life due to family tragedies. Don’t miss their riveting stories!
