WILMINGTON, MA — Here are TWELVE highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Tuesday, June 28, 2016:
- Liam M. Taggart (18, Melrose) was arrested for OUI (drugs); marked lanes violation; and selling/possessing an electric stun gun. Taggart was pulled over on Nelson Way. (12:35am)
- Police located a juvenile on Linda Road. Juvenile was missing from the Milestone Group Home. Police returned him. (12:57am)
- Police located three missing juveniles from Milestone Group Home at Wilmington High. Police returned them. (1:10am)
- A red Dodge Caravan struck a pole on Glen Road. Airbags deployed. Driver refused medical attention. Vehicle was towed. Verizon was notified. (8:03m)
- A vehicle struck a broken piece of the sidewalk in front of Rocco’s Restaurant and got a flat tire. Police moved the piece of curbing out of the roadway. (8:19am)
- A gray 2014 Chevy Silverado and a green 2005 Kida Sorenta were involved in a crash on Horseshoe Lane. Both vehicles were towed. No injuries noted. (9:09am)
- Police checked on a suspicious package in the high school parking lot. Package was a cooler with ice and refreshments. (10:26am)
- A Shawsheen Avenue caller reported his car was egged last night. (11:51am)
- A Kilby Street resident reported a past theft of a UPS package taken on April 5. (2:48pm)
- A Shawsheen Avenue caller reported she lost a 4/5 diamond silver earring somewhere in town. She’s unsure where she lost it. (3:50pm)
- A Ford F450 struck a gas pump at Sonny’s Mobil on the Run on Lowell Street. No injuries or significant damage. (6:59pm)
- A tree was reported down on Eames Street and Main Street. Police notified DPW. (7:25pm)
