OBITUARY: Kathleen F. (Madigan) Santoro, 65

WILMINGTON, MA — Kathleen F. (Madigan) Santoro,  of Wilmington, formerly of Chelsea, passed away on June 30th.

Devoted wife of Nicholas J. Santoro, Jr. Beloved mother of Barbara Santoro-Leneski and her husband Michael of Lakeworth, FL and Nicholas J. Santoro, III and his wife Katie of Tewksbury. Daughter of Constance Madigan of Revere and the late John E. Madigan, Sr. Dear sister of Claire Arsenault of Everett, Loretta DiCresce of Las Vegas, NV, Daniel Madigan of Peabody, Lillian Madigan of Revere and the late John E. Madigan, Jr. Cherished grandmother of Nicholas J. Santoro, IV. Also lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews.

Born in Chelsea and a resident until moving to Wilmington 20 years ago, Kathleen, at 65 years of age, passed away at Tufts Medical Center in Boston on Thursday evening after a lenghty illness. For over 25 years, Kathy was the teller supervisor for Bank of America at their State Street branch.

Family and friends are kindly invited to attend a Funeral Service in the Smith Funeral Home, 125 Washington Avenue, CHELSEA on Thursday, July 7th at 10 AM. Visiting Hours in the Smith Funeral Home on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Services will conclude with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Expressions of sympathy in Kathy’s name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation of MA, 390 Main St., Worcester, MA 01608
