WILMINGTON, MA — Here are EIGHT highlights from the Wilmington Police Log for Sunday, June 26, 2016:
- A Middlesex Avenue caller reported that a a man wearing a black t-shirt and backpack walked up his driveway. When the resident asked him what he was doing, he left. Police picked the man up near the cemetery. Police questioned the man. Situation checked OK. Police gave man a ride home. (12:38am)
- An Uber driver reported her passenger fell asleep and would not wake up. Passenger would eventually wake up and driver is taking him home to Billerica. (2:22am)
- A red 1999 Toyota 4Runner struck and killed a deer near Michael’s Place on Lowell Street. (4:14am)
- Fire Department responded to a brush fire on Towpath Drive. (2:27pm)
- A hit and run between a white jeep and a black 1998 Honda Civic took place on Main Street. Caller took a photo of the other driver’s place before they left the scene. (3:24pm)
- A caller reported his cell phone was taken from his Shawsheen Avenue lawn. Police spoke with a man that picked up the phone. He discarded it by the Shawsheen school. Police returned the phone to the caller. (5:31pm)
- A juvenile was reported missing from the Milestone Group Home on High Street. (9:00pm)
- A caller reported his unlocked vehicle was entered, while parked at Cumberland Farm, and a prescription medication was taken. (11:19pm)
